I love to use Brainpop to show videos about topics during lessons. It grabs the students' attention immediatly and keeps it for a few minutes. Within the few minutes, the topic of discussion is explained simply.

GOOGLE Earth is a great tool for classroom use! I love exploring the world and all of the amazing things that occur in the ground and in the sky. This feature could be used to share my interest in science to my students for all of the various subject. After reviewing google earth- geology, I emailed two regular education teachers that I am on a team with and informed them about this feature. Both teachers are instruction lessons on geology and I thought this would be a wonderful "attention grabber"!

I have posted on the Zoho assignments tab that I will soon be creating a pod cast of a student with low reading fluency and low processing abilities compared to grade level peers. This student will read her most recent social studies project and record it. We will then play it back and listen to her read. I hope this will help her to analyze and modify her reading strategies to benefit her reading abilities. you never know until you KNOW
